According to data from the National Development and Reform Commission, China August ex mine coal prices rose 0.31%MoM to an average of CNY 714 per tonne.

The average price of power coal rose 1.3%MoM to CNY 524 per tonne in August while the price of coking coal dropped 0.39%MoM to CNY 967 per tonne. The ex mine price of coking coal dropped 1.86%MoM to CNY 1,506 per tonne in August.

The settlement price of power coal at Qinhuangdao Port dropped 1.51%MoM to CNY 678 per tonne in August. Settlement price of washed coking coal was flat at CNY 1,240 per

tonne in August.
