At present, nearly 60,000 mines throught out China have carried out reserves dynamic monitor. Dynamic monitoring of mine reserves is to make sure of the annual consumption of mineral resources reserves by the mining enterprises, mainly by means of Geological Survey, in order to give support to the monitor project and the reasonable use of mineral resources.

In recent years, vigorously pushed forward by land and resources management departments at all levels, dynamic monitoring of mine reserves has made marked progress.

The carring out of reserves dynamic monitor helps the country to grasp the resource condition more accurately, to increase tax income on resources, to strengthen the grass-roots management of mine and to provide a reliable basis for monitoring the rational utilization and rectifying the mining order.
