Geology        The east and west mineralized area has similar characteristics. Both have quartz vein grow inside the biotite-granite, mainly is greisenization, wolframite mineralization and sometimes chalcopyrite or pyrite mineralization, which are production of hydrothermal activity of the later period magmatite. Compared to others, wolframite is bigger and with a deeper grade of mineralization. The sampling process find out that WO3 bears a relatively high grade. Jiuquling Mine has 19 ore quartz veins been found in the east and the west mineralized area, with 9 of them in the west and 10 of them in the east. Moreover this area has great geological condition, convinient transportation, pleasant climate, abundant water resources but few residents, thus is a perfect choice for mine construction.

Targets        This area has plenty of resources. There is a great fall between the vein outcrop and the height datum and most of them can use the method of open-cave. Those veins with a high inclination angle can use a low-cost method, that is, to blast down the mine through a small hole. Appraisal shows that the mines are of simple structure, without packages or crystal embedded phenomenon. Thus we can discard most of them at first and then choose those with not so small diameter. Choosing mine is a process of low-cost and high recovery rate.
